Seals, Things to Do & Tips for You!

Aloha Romantics,

We hope all our East Coast romantics, family and friends are safe. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Seal Crashes Beach Wedding
We would like to give a congratulations to our romantics Rod & Jo Ann who recently got married at Makapu'u. The wedding was crashed by a Hawaiian Monk Seal who swam up on the beach during photos after the nuptials. Here you can see in the photo, the couple was surprised as the seal came ashore. We posted the following image on our Facebook page and were immediately tagged & scrutinized on Twitter by various animal protective agencies due to how close the couple appears in the photo. However, at no time did anyone ever approach, touch or engage the seal. It simply swam up during the photo session by where the couple was walking. It's all good! We think it's great that their are people out their protecting wildlife. Thank you for your concern but the people on the beach - including police & life guards - can assure you that nobody ever approached the animal.  It was just great timing & a great moment for the couple. Only in Hawaii can a wedding get crashed & cause such a twitter by a seal.

Things to Do on Oahu
People often ask about things to do on Oahu. One of our top recommendations is the Pearl Harbor Memorial. You can learn more about it here:

Wedding Tip of the Day
When it comes time to send out thank you cards to your guests, we recommend including a 4x6 or 5x7 print of  the bride & groom with your guests in each card. It's a simple yet greatly appreciated gesture that doubles as a gift that your guests will appreciate and cherish.

Thanks again for stopping by our blog! Have a blessed day!

Warmest,
